My Story – A Journey in Cake Making
Hi, I’m Cassandra, and I’ve been creating beautiful, bespoke cakes for over 30 years. My journey into the world of cake making started as a trained chef, specialising in Patisserie. I honed my craft in some of London’s most vibrant kitchens before discovering my true passion for cake decorating, particularly sugarcraft and sugar flowers. As I continued to grow in my skillset, I knew that creating cakes was where my heart truly lay.
After many years working in catering and retail, I decided it was time to follow my dream and open Cakes by Cassandra full-time. Since then, I’ve been bringing bespoke, beautifully crafted cakes to life from my home kitchen in Benfleet, Essex. Each cake I make is a reflection of my love for baking and my commitment to quality.
